I believe that I've made a connection to Roger Williams through his son Daniel. I've researched Rootsweb.com and found lineage to Daniel through his Great-grandson Peleg (married to Sarah Wheeler). The Roger Williams association lists Peleg as being married to Rhoda Winsor. Is it possible that Peleg had more than one spouse. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is what I have for Pelegs.
Peleg Williams, son of Daniel, born 1679, died February 1766, married Elizabeth Carpenter born 1676, died 1766.
-His son, Peleg Williams, born 1719, died Jan 31 1809, Married (1) Mary Sheldon and (2) -Rebecca (Williams) Thayer
--His son, Peleg Williams, born 1748, died July 1826, married Rhoda Winsor in 1771
This shows as his only marriage, but they did have a daughter named Sarah (married Stephen Slater) and a son named Peleg (no more info on him).
The only Sarah Wheeler I have found in my records is descended from Roger as this:
Roger Williams --Daniel Williams ---Peleg Williams ----Silas Williams -----Esther Williams who married Col. Henry Wheeler ------Sarah Wheeler who married Robert Phillips
Of course, my records are likely not complete. It is a book written by a member of the RWA back in the 50s. It is a book I have split up into 5 parts (about 22mb altogether as pdfs) and I would be glad to send to you one at a time so you can download. I've also considered uploading to my site, but I'm afraid of the bandwidth it would entail. If I could find some way to OCR it, I would be able to make it searchable.
