My gt gt Grandfather was Matthew Francis Nash and his wife was Elsie Barclay Tocher. They had 2 children: my gt Grandfather also Matthew Francis Nash and his sister Margaret. Margaret was born on 29th July 1885 at 23 Gayfield Street Glasgow Scotland. (Statutory birth record 644/09 1175). Unfortunately her father had died on 11th February 1885, just before Margaret was born. In the census taken 31st March 1901 (census record 1901 644/08 028/08 017) Margaret was 15 years old and lived with her widowed mother and a boarder, Henry Russell. They lived at 41 Cedar Strett in the Woodside district of Glasgow. Margaret's occupation was a message girl. Margaret moved to Michigan, we think in 1911, but the circumstances for that move are unknown to our family. From the Emmet County marriage records Earl and Margaret married on 19th July 1914 (Liber 4 Folio 262). I have a copy of the death certificate of Elsie Nash, Margaret's mother, who died in Harbor Springs, Little Traverce, Emmet County, on 6th June 1924. Mrs Earl Williams is the informant. The place of burial is Lake View Cemetery, Harbor Springs. When searching Cemetery records Margaret died 23rd December 1938 and Earl died 24th November 1956 and they are all listed under section K Lot 24, presumably all buried in same family plot. Death records show Margaret died in Petoskey (record 5 Folio 619) and Earl died in Harbor Springs Record 1956 Folio 257). I found an obituary of Niles Ray Williams, one of earl and Margaret's children who died January 27th 1998 in Kalamazoo. Niles had a twin brother Ivan and another brother William Vickeray. Niles and Ivan were born on 13th March 1917 in harbor Springs and William was born Sept. 1918
